# H. G. Design > Product Designer and UX Strategist based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK. Specialised in building digital products that translate into accessible, functional, and maintainable experiences for established organisations, startups, and everything in between. Harry George Taylor is a Product Designer and User Experience Strategist with a background spanning UX, interaction design, information architecture, and brand evolution. His practice is rooted in the belief that most project failures stem from confidently solving the wrong problem — so research, reframing, and structural thinking come before any visual decisions. He builds in Figma and Webflow, using proven frameworks (Lumos and Client-First) to ensure sites remain maintainable by clients long after a project wraps. Animation and interaction work is handled with GSAP, Lottie, and Rive — motion used to guide, not decorate. ## Disciplines - Product Design - UX Design - Information Architecture - Interaction Design - Brand Identity & Visual Direction - Webflow Development - Presentation & Social Asset Design ## Selected Work ### Friend MTS Tackles video piracy for sports and media clients worldwide. Repositioned the brand around technology and innovation. Rebuilt the information architecture, designed dynamic interfaces, and evolved the brand to match the speed of the threats they're fighting. ### Raidiam Builds infrastructure for open banking and data exchange. Redesigned the website with visual systems and animations that made complex financial ecosystems understandable across multiple formats and audiences. ### TCM Forklift TCM manufactures forklifts globally. Built a website ready for international expansion — modernised the brand identity, created modular systems for easy maintenance, structured everything for multi-language support, and made product data simple to navigate. ### Hitachi High-Tech Analytical Science Makes scientific instruments. Created editorial materials, product renderings, and advertisements while pushing their brand identity forward. Developed a visual approach for new products that felt fresh but still recognisably Hitachi. ### Oxford Kyoto Prize Oxford's Blavatnik School hosts Kyoto Prize laureates for talks and events. Built a dedicated website expanding the Kyoto Prize identity for the Oxford programme, plus all supporting advertisements and marketing materials. ## Case Studies The following projects have full case studies available: ### Friend MTS — Building a Dynamic Digital Identity for Global Anti-Piracy Technology Leaders URL: https://harrygeorge.design/work/friendmts Delivered by Syndicut (2024) Tags: Product Design, UX Design, Visual Direction, Social Media Friend MTS is a UK leader in video content security, providing anti-piracy solutions to sports, media, and entertainment clients with Emmy®-winning technology. Despite their technical expertise, their digital presence wasn't reflecting the maturity of their offerings. Harry rebuilt the information architecture, created lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes using Relume, and applied UX principles consistently throughout. Key decisions included applying Hick's Law to streamline navigation, progressive disclosure to manage service complexity, and mental models to shift from internal jargon to outcome-driven language aligned with how broadcasters and rights holders actually think. The brand concept — that piracy doesn't stand still — was translated into the experience itself: dynamic favicons shifting by site section, a constantly animated logo, scroll-triggered CTAs, and a background-blurring navigation. Within three months of launch the site saw a 42% increase in user engagement, a 25% boost in lead generation, and a 31% improvement in page load speeds. ### Raidiam — Designing Trust and Clarity for Complex Open Banking Infrastructure Systems URL: https://harrygeorge.design/work/raidiam Delivered by Syndicut (2025) Tags: Product Design, UX Design, Visual Direction, Presentation Design, Social Media Raidiam builds secure infrastructure for open banking and data exchange, serving major banks and government institutions. Their existing website was leaving visitors confused about what Raidiam actually did and how their systems worked. Harry delivered a complete digital overhaul spanning website redesign, brand refinement, presentations, ebooks, and social assets. The site architecture was restructured using Miller's Law and Hick's Law to reduce cognitive load and surface relevant pathways. A scroll-based GSAP animation was developed for the homepage to visually demonstrate how major financial institutions connect through Raidiam's infrastructure — solving the core communication problem of explaining complex multi-stakeholder systems without relying on jargon. The result is a unified digital presence that clearly articulates what Raidiam does, providing the clarity and confidence their enterprise and government audiences need to make informed decisions. ## Pages - Homepage: https://harrygeorge.design - Approach: https://harrygeorge.design/approach - Work: https://harrygeorge.design/work - Raidiam Case Study: https://harrygeorge.design/work/raidiam - FriendMTS Case Study: https://harrygeorge.design/work/friendmts - Contact: https://harrygeorge.design/contact ## Contact Available Monday to Friday, 9AM – 5:30PM GMT.
